about

I’m a developer based in Malé, Maldives, with a habit of turning complicated problems into things people can actually use. Most of my work is web and mobile — queue systems, clinical portals and operational software — building it, shipping it, and keeping it running.
I started scripting in my second year of O’Levels. That led to my first WordPress template, built for AO News while I was still in high school — the point where this stopped being a hobby and became the work.
In 2020 I completed a diploma in Computer Application Technology at Yangzhou Polytechnic College.
Since then I’ve built websites, portals and internal systems for hospitals, government bodies and media organisations across the Maldives. The earlier work was mostly Vue, Laravel and PHP; for the past couple of years I’ve worked almost entirely in React and React Native, with Kotlin for the screens and devices that sit on the floor.
A lot of that work has been inside hospital operations. Most of those systems aren’t mine to show, but the domain knowledge is why the projects here tend to fit how a hospital actually runs rather than how it looks on a flowchart.
Away from the screen I cook, work out, and listen to a lot of audiobooks.
